Hey guys!
This blog is seriously dying, so let me do some CPR to this blog. HAHA.
Anyway, yesterday was the fab National Day! Church had the live broadcast of NDP on our huge screens! Ushers cleared the place and turned into a real cool hangout for everyone to enjoy. Cafe also had more amazing and delicious food for us to have while enjoying NDP. The atmosphere was so fun and hyper yesterday! I'm sure everyone did enjoy themselves, right? (: National Day this year also marks 44 years of Singapore's amazing independence. Kudos to all pioneers of Singapore who worked hard and had their visions in their minds. People may criticize Singapore for being small and have practically NO useful resources (We only have human beings, wow.), but they did not give up! They only saw the bright future of Singapore and the big dreams they had to groom and build Singapore from a tiny port, fishing village, to an amazing arts centre, entertainment hub, international organizations and companies pouring in to invest and set their bases here. How cool is that!
And so, I guess this would link back to Pastor's sermon. Yesterday as well, Pastor How preached on his Part 2 of the series, on Bigger!
So, a quick summary of Pastor's spectacular and mind blowing sermon everyone enjoyed and I personally had a revelation as well!
Main verses of this sermon:
Isaiah 55:8-9"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord.
"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts."
Basically, it means to have great aspirations and to be mature in our thinking. (Wow, I really want to get a spirit filled bible right now!)
And also, linking to Isaiah 55:8-9, there's
1 Corinthians 2:16, in short, we should aim to have the mind of Christ!
This part of the sermon wow-ed me so greatly already, amen? But there's more!
Pastor gave the example of Elijah's disciple having twice the anionting of himself. And the future generation having more! Each new generation will be able to do greater things as there was already a sturdy foundation for the next generation to grow from and carry on to spread the gospel and do much more great! Great is better than good, always.
Mindsets.
As Christians, we have to learn to
unset your mindset.
The verses shared here are
2 Corinthians 10:4-5. Which leads us to unset rebellious thoughts, false arguments and strongholds of human reasoning!
So,
1. Thoughts
2. Arguments
3. Strongholds
Having the same thinking, doing the same actions daily, repeatedly, does not have a different result from which you target for!
If you want something you have never had, you have to do something that you have never done before.
We have to be willing to break all limitations!
Verses with relation to this are
Matthew 19:29,
John 7:38. Cool! Pastor shared the concept if wells are for smaller families, but flow rivers of living waters, as in John 7:38, are for the whole community, able to feed the whole territory, irrigate the farmlands, and fields.
Leading us to
Matthew 14:24-29, where we all know the story of how Peter asked Jesus to allow him to walk on water to be beside Him. All of us have to conceive the thought! God will create chances, opportunities for us when we decided to do something. God will say, "I like that thought, I will make it happen for you!" This is also in line with
Ephesians 3:20, Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, accordingly to the power that works in us,
And lastly, when we think that we cannot make it, when we think we cannot reach the impossible,
Philippians 4:13I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.Thats all guys, I refreshed my mind again after this post.
Motivation to study now! Haha.
See you!
Love, Nicole.

Hello people!
I've not been updating on my part, and figured I should do so now! Haha.
Anyway, past few weeks were amazing.
There was D.E.O camp, (which I sadly did not attend, arghhhhhh).
Heard many people enjoyed themselves and received new revelations, got prayed by Pastor Troy Marshall!
Just previous weekend,
Pastor Joakim Lundqvist was here in Heart of God!
It was my first time listening to his sermons and I really got so impacted by them.
Oh yes, please add Pastor Joakim on Facebook too haha!
You can find his profile through me.
Coming service,
Pastor Kent Munsey will be preaching to us.
Oh man, I can't wait for his amazing sermons!
I believe everyone of us will grow to a new level of faith and receive yet another revelation!
Love you guys!
Remember there will be CG/worship this Thursday, 3 to 4.30pm.
Love,
Nicole

i just saw the blog a little dead,
so all i want to say is...
I
D 10!so you ask how much?
it must be quite A LOT, cause D10 means more to me than all the food in this food pyramid! and in D Zone, you can compare to other camps and see how much of money was actually JUST spent on food during the DEO camp.

anyway, the words of 'i love you d10' only need to be heard and read by those in dream teamer one-oh!! :) oh, and of course our God who knows all already.
